The Superior King room was such a treat! Super spacious with nice decor. Mood lighting made it cozy. The view was just fine! Perfect for sipping champagne. The bed was comfy, linens felt luxurious. They even had a Dyson fan for comfort. Really appreciated the fresh milk and shortbread waiting for us! No complaints about cleanliness-it felt well-kept! Just a really nice room overall.

The hotel is clean and reasonably spacious, has super staff and super and charming location to all the sights of Edinburgh. The room is excellent and beautiful with particularly good views over city to the sea. They have plenty of meals to choose from, the food is well presented.

Appetising food, good service and absolutely stunning view over the new town. Impressive room, elegant, with exceptionally comfortable beds. Satisfactory breakfast with lots of food. Stunning and peaceful location near to tram, central Edinburgh, quiet ambience.
Disappointing aspect was quite small bathroom.

Dreamlike, romantic, elegant hotel. We had a Superior De Luxe room with wonderful views, very quiet, large and spacious. We enjoyed the stay. We had booked the room without breakfast, as there are many possibilities in the city to have something light in the morning and we are not breakfast eaters. Dinner in the evening is highly recommended and you should treat yourself. Absolutely delicious!

Except for the coffee (but they can't do that on the island in general...) the breakfast was excellent. The selection of additional combinations (e.g. scrambled eggs and salmon) was great.

Charming, stylish hotel. Very nice rooms. Breakfast was wonderful. This is a prime location. Most of the highlights are within walking distance.

The breakfast was good, and I loved relaxing in the garden area with my book while sipping tea. The only hitch was that the cooked breakfast could use better execution, but the overall experience was still fantastic. 😊

We spent our honeymoon there and felt good all around. The room was super cosy with a wonderful view, the breakfast room was also relaxing and since we don't like continental breakfast buffet so much, we were very satisfied. Every morning, one could choose freshly prepared dishes from a menu, including, of course, the Full Scottish Breakfast. The employees were all very nice and courteous.

Beautiful, first-class facilities, perfect location in a quiet quarter just a few minutes walk from the centre. Easy to reach by tram at Edinburgh Airport. Again and again gladly!
